this little guy is one of the contenders for first dog.
A face that... well, I'm not sure anyone could love.
So the search is on for the next White House dog. It must be outgoing and as hypoallergenic as possible but shouldn't it be photogenic as well? Let's face it- as trivial as it seems the White House pets are sometimes remembered and photographed more often than the actual first family.
No dog is completely allergy free but this hairless dude above may come close.
I have shared my life with dogs from the day I was born, but discovered only a few years ago, during allergy testing, that I was allergic to them. I don't know what it would be like to be without or allergy free so I have kept my pooches and suffered a few sinus ills here and there.
Whatever pooch they choose, I hope it will give the Obama girls many years of companionship. Below is a list of the most popular names picked for the new presidential pup. Let me know your top pick. I like Lady Liberty or Economy.
Thanks for dropping by. Sorry I've been AWOL lately but a family emergency took me away for a few days.

ReplyDeleteBut seriously, I like Hope and Libby. Those are cute. And you are so right about remembering White House pets. I really like Barney, that was my Dad's name so it's especially cute for me.
I like Howard for a dog, too.
Glad to see you back. I've been out for a while too. Hope your family is well.
Hugs,
Claire
Kind of creepy looking, though!!
