The Girl, The Mission, Road Trip, & A Sexy Sofa

Survived the dentist and the drugs yahhhhhh! My mission for today is a road trip. So not much getting done around here, but that's okay. I am sure you are wondering what the heck does a road trip have to do with that sexy little sofa above. The velvet lady is the muse for my current novel and she has a secret. Oh I just love secrets, don't you? Well more on that in a later post.
Have a wonderful weekend. I may fall a little short on my promise of a daily post over the weekend and yes I know you don't want to hear my excuses. I do have a couple good ones. I know, know I am falling short of my mission already, but I have my reasons. I know you don't want to hear them but I just saying....

Question of the day and this should prove that I am not so self-involved that I don't know what's going on in the world around me. Does too much money make you dumb and blind? I ask this because I don't understand how the Auto execs thought they could appeal to congress for a bail out by arriving into town on their lavish private jets and think no one would notice or care. I just don't get it- are they mindless idiots or does all that money really impair your judgement? There I feel better. Don't you?

Looking Through the Garden Gate

There is something about a garden gate that compels you to look. You must, at least, take a peek at what lies beyond the garden gate.

Even the plants know the secret and are willing to help protect it by obscuring your view. It must be a secret so special that you are willing to risk it and sneak past the entrance.






Some secrets are rare or just too good to keep. All gardens are beautiful in their own way but a gate makes them more alluring in your minds eye.







Temptation lies in the mind of us all and we can't help but take a peek at the secrets that lie beyond the gate.

I love a good garden gate it peeks my interest and adds an old world charm to my view. Everything looks much better and much more intriguing when seen through sturdy wrought iron.







The details and design of the gate speak volumes about the place that it protects. The guardian of our lives make the world a more beautiful place and keep the secret alive.

While taking a walk past this hefty gate would you dare to peek at the secrets that hide behind it? Would you bend down and peek through the windows or would you be strong enough to pass by without a look?

My Inner Diva

So many secrets to share. Some we must keep. Can you trust your diary to keep you inner most thoughts safe? What would it say about you?

My inner diva is coming out. I have starting a Diva Diary (altered journal). I have the front cover complete. I attached a heart locket that can be filled with any picture. I used a vintage picture of 2 lovers, this is a Diva Diary you know. I did cover my nude diva with a well placed feather. Keeping it PG or maybe PG13. I am working on the back cover.

I am still working on things for my Etsy Store and I hope to have it up and running in the next 2 weeks. So much to do and time seems to be just flying these days. It has been a long winter.
