Happy weekend and welcome to Pink Saturday. I joined up with the lovely Beverly from "How Sweet the Sound". Click on her name and check out the blogs that in the Pink today.
My beautiful rose is no more. The deer have eaten all my pretties. They don't like the ugly plants. Only my beautiful specimens will do.
This wreath was my first giveaway with OWOH. I made the wreath and it was used at a wedding last summer. It made the perfect Valentine giveaway. I hope you love it Kecia.
It's official I have been tagged by the beautiful Marina from "Only Cute Things" Stop by her place via the link above.
Okay it is question and answer time. Here goes.
What was I doing 10 years ago?
I was working at a Floral Design Studio and raising 3 young teenagers, 15, 13, and 11.
Five Things on My to do List.

2.Replant deer proof plants in my poor garden :(
3.Clean out my supply closet.
4.Get ready for a Country Barn sale
(that means cleaning out mom and dad's barn)

Things I would Do If I were a Millionaire?
I would give money to my kids and family. Pick a charity or 2 to support and travel while writing about the experiences of people from around the world.
Buy a place on the ocean. Do you think I 'm out of money yet?
Five Places I have Lived.
I'm sorry but no excitement here I have lived in mid-Michigan my whole life. I would love to live in a seaside cottage in a warmer climate.
That is my dream :)
Okay now for the fun part, I get to tag 5 friends.

Take Care,
-Mya
Mya, I am so glad you decided to participate in Pink Saturday. I hope you will continue to join in - just let me know each week.
ReplyDeleteI love your rose, and shame on those "bad deer" for eating them. We have roses, too, but we seldom see any deer. I have a friend that has the same problem with the deer eating everything she plants. Around our home, it's the squirrels that drive us crazy.
Don't worry, I don't think all of your money is gone yet because you invested wisely and you're only spending the dividends. (Not so likely in this economy we're in now.)
My best friend, Jeanne at Backyard Neighbor http://backyardneighbor.typepad.com/ is from Michigan, too.
Your rose and your wreath are just beautiful!!! I remember the first time I saw deer in our neighborhood I was so excited to see them. The next day when I noticed that they had eaten my roses my enthusiasm about seeing them quickly left me :)
ReplyDeletetake care,
Dawn

The rose is so pretty... you must have a green thumb in order to grow something that sweet. The dew drops on it and the photogrphy are wonderful!!
