Mirror, Mirror

Just had to share with you the latest photo of my little princess. She loves to look at her reflection in the mirror and say hi, her first word. In this pic she was actually watching me take her picture. I thought it was an incredible shot. Aren't babies fun? Especially Grand Babies!
Thanks for stopping by

Romanticizing Spring

Spring is upon us, you can feel it in the air. There is something so inspiring about spring. Is it the rebirth and anew of the earth or the fresh clean smell of the air or is it the beautiful bursts of color around us? I don't know, but I love it.
The cherub image above is decoupaged on an antique cupboard of mine. It has a beautiful romantic look about it, so Victorian or maybe shabby chic.
I placed the flowers for censorship and to keep this post rated G :)

This is baby girl's first time sitting in the grass. It looks like she is trying to say something. Perhaps "oooh this feels funny" what ever it was I do think she liked the grass. She is enjoying her first spring. Last year at this time she was no bigger than a peanut. Isn't that amazing? Look at her now!

It's spring and that means tutu time. Baby girl has been waiting all winter to wear her beautiful pink tutu. Well, at least someone has been waiting for the opportunity for her to wear it.

When I think of spring I think of Pink.
I know I always think of Pink but the spring inspires my to create in sweet yummy Pink colors.
This tussy mussy is one of my fav creations. It is so girlie.

I had to leave you with this beautiful image of a fawn in the forest. What could be more spring than that? I bet his mommy sure loves him. Speaking of moms, Happy Mother's Day to all of you. Check back Sunday, when Sugar Sugar will be hosting Show and Tell Sunday, it is dedicated to mom.

I am off with my family for the weekend. Enjoy your weekend!

Travel Treasures Make Mermaid Dreams

I am inspired by my beach treasures, to create something fun. I just knew that I would find a use for the many little ocean trees and shells my hubby and I collected on our recent trip. Hubby has become quite the shell hunter. See ladies they can be trained for some things. Does anyone know what these little miniature tree looking plants are called? I would love it if someone would leave me a comment and educate me a little.

Of course we had way too many to take back on the airplane. In the past we have shipped things back but this time we were lucky enough to have our sweet friends Paula and Jerry just down the beach with wheels. So they will be bringing our treasures home when they return in a week. Now you know that I didn't go 2 weeks without any of my fabulous finds. I did managed to wriggle a few in the luggage. I just couldn't wait, because that's how I am, way too impatient!

This pic is from a previous post and will be part of a scrap book type thingy, that I am making for my parents 50th anniversary. I am going to write a nice post about it and then print my whole blog (because they don't have internet and never ever see it) and put it in a scrap book type folder thingy.

Another inspiration for my Mermaid Dream catcher is my little mermaid girl and tiara model. Don't you think fur and shells go well together? Fabulous! Tyra Banks (or whoever is the hot model these days) eat your heart out.

And last but certainly not least is my little mermaid's little mermaid. Baby girl Giselle, she is a way cuter model than the famous model Gisele Bundchen ever was. Don't you think? She's so sweet. I know you just want to pinch her cheeks. I'll do it for you.

Studio Pink is Open

It is official Studio Pink is open for business.! It has been a week now. A very long week of late nights but "We are here, we are here" as the Who's in Whoville would say. I have made 3 sales and a couple special orders. Fun fun, but no profit yet. It has only been a week but I am impatient you know. I love my latest creation. It is a starfish tiara for a beach wedding.

The beach sounds wonderful about now doesn't it? I will be there soon. Less than 3 weeks.

Whew hew!

It has been sooo fun taking pictures for all of the merchandise and baby girl has been quite the little model.

Visit my shop please and if anyone reading this know's how to change or put a new blog banner on this blog site please let me know. I have one ready to go thanks to my sis but I am not sure how to load it. Help me!
