Friday Flea market Ephemera

Here we are meeting for another Friday Flea Market. Thank you Miss Polly from Counting Your Blessings for being our lovely hostess. For a shopping list of flea markets visit our FFM link.

Venus and Cupid

Today I am featuring a package of ephemera that I put together from vintage art books and other bits and pieces.

I have 25 pieces of book plates, advertisement pieces, antique primer book pages and wall paper samples. It is available at Studio Pink. For $15.00

The print of the little girls in the beauty shop has never been used, it's matted and still covered in plastic.

The book plates are vintage and really quite beautiful. The plate with the roses is very old and tattered on the edges. There are several pages from a Children's Primer book that are antique. Lots of goodies to use in your altered art or scrap booking projects.

Have a wonderful weekend my friends.

Friday Flea Market by the Sea

What could be better than going to a flea market on a beautiful summer's day?

Thank you to my flickr friend Photog63

How about a flea market by the sea. Yes, I think today we shall set up our wares on this beautiful stretch of sand. We shall shop to the sounds of the waves crashing in and the terns calling over head.

Our lovely hostess Polly, says shop til you drop and stop by the market to catch up with the other fleas.

I will walk by the sea and dream of mermaids splashing about. I have captured these dreams on a canvas of Mermaid Tails. This 16 by 20 canvas is boldly splashed with color, shells and ephemera. It is available in the Studio for $15.00

This fair maiden is longing for the chance to grow a tail and live under the sea. This gypsy girl would even give up her fancy belt for a chance to become a lovely mermaid.

Here is Muriel queen of the mermaid clan. Isn't she lovely with her golden brown locks and shiny crown.

This little mermaid on the half shell looks suburb as a dream catcher. She is hiding from the queen Muriel at the bottom of the sea. My personal favorite can be picked up for $13.00 in the Studio.

Here she is hanging around the wine bottles. Her 5"shell is filled with beads, shells and sea tree. A little piece of sea glass dangles below. Beachy dreams to you!

Oh, how I love the sea. Nothing could bring the beauty of the ocean, to my decor, more than this lovely little seascape. I would swear it was something straight out of the Horchow catalog if I hadn't made it myself.

Update this item was featured by the Etsy staff in Etsy finds and just sold.

I will try to pick up more vintage saucers and mini cloches to make more.

For other seascapes and fabulous ocean finds go to the Studio.
I will take special orders.
All you have to do is ask.

Thank you for shopping my beach side market.

Leave your footprints (comments) in the sand.

Friday Flea Market

Happy Friday and welcome to my flea market. To shop the other markets today go to FridayFleaMarket Our beautiful hostess is Polly from CountingYourBlessings
Now lets shop...

Today I am featuring only one item. "Smelly Cat" This little guy must be featured alone. I am sure you understand why. He is a whimsical original painting by my lovely daughter and mother to the Grand Princess.

Smelly Cat was painted on a 16 by 20 canvas. He is spritzed with a little Polo Cologne, you may wonder if there is a mysterious man lurking about. I love the deep rich colors and quirky little wire whiskers.
For a more in depth description and additional pictures or to purchase this funky cat go to StudioPink.

Thank you for shopping with me today.

Stop back tomorrow for a fabulous tea party.

Friday Flea Market "It's Your Birthday"

Welcome to Friday Fleas. To check out the other markets click on the Friday Flea Market icon.
Polly from Counting Your Blessings is our lovely hostess.
You just have to check out her blog it is wonderful.

My theme today is Birthdays and to celebrate them I have featured my beautiful keepsake birthday boxes. They're made out of hat boxes which I painted and adorned. The top features a vintage tea cup and removable collectible teddy bear, flower and yummy cupcake.

Each box is a separate piece and perfect for storing mementos from babies birth or birthdays. They are gorgeous and oh so girlie.

This is the bottom layer with vintage postcards decoupaged to the lid. They make great decorative storage bins for a baby or little girls room.
$45.00 at StudioPink
This second cake is a little smaller and covered in Laura Ashley paper. Makes a perfect baby shower gift. Gorgeous!
For sizes and dimensions of either cake go to my shop. StudioPink
The little bears are totally removable they just sit in the cups. You could replace them with a toy from one of the parents or grandparents and use the bear as an extra gift. Very sweet!
This cake would be the perfect piece to pass down through the family or for the birthday girl to use every year. We use ours for every birthday as a centerpiece for the party.
$45.00 at StudioPink

Bring on the diva's in their tiara's

Our first little beauty is sporting StudioPink's newest tiara.
The Woodland Fairy Crown. It is put together with yummy peachy pink colors. So perfect for a birthday girl or your special princess. $35.00
This tiara is meant for a princess 12 months to adult. The wire frame is totally adjustable and is covered by baby soft tulle and soft pink ribbons
.
The ribbons can be tied in the back for a secure fit. It was photographed on my 7 month old Grand Princess and was just a little too big. I had to use her for the shoot because you know how these super models get when they don't get their way.
It's not pretty. LOL

This next crown is the largest Mermaid crown I have made. It would be wonderful for a costume party or just for display. I have starfish crowns without the tulle for weddings. They are special order only. See my etsy shop StudioPink for more details.

This crown is adjustable and would fit a medium sized child to adult. It is made from a real starfish other shells, tulle and crystals. $35.00
The last tiara featured today is a 3 starfish tiara with shells, beads, tulle and flowers.

What a fun piece for your next costume party. Little diva dress-up or mermaid wanna-be's.

Find this tiara $35.00 and many more at studioPink.
Thank you for joining me and the Princess Parade today.
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Father's Day.
