The Crying Room

This post is my contribution to this week's Sunday Scribblings. The topic is somewhere. Well after the week I had my somewhere has ended in a crying room taking pity on myself.

I decided to leave a whiny or cry baby post today, not to ask you to feel sorry for me but to just let you know what kind of week I had. First, let me start by saying that there are people far worse off than me but I do want to vent about everything that went painfully wrong last week.

Let the whining begin. It all started on Monday when I was cooking a fabulous dinner for my girls friends for our inspiration board night. Well at about 5:00 pm I managed to sustain 2nd degree burns on my abdomen by spilling a pot of boiling water on myself. The night went on and I survived. All was okay and my burns had become ugly blisters until Tuesday afternoon when my precious little granddaughter jumped on my stomach and ripped the blisters open. Well I guess you know that if I ever had any dreams of becoming a bikini model, I can just forget about it now. Ha Ha!
Things were getting better until Saturday when my tooth started hurting and by nightfall I was in excruciating pain. Sunday morning I made my way to The Ready Care and got a script for an antibiotic. Well it is now Tuesday and the pain is still there so we are trying a stronger med just as soon as I get done whining and make my way to the pharmacy.
It wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that I have a horrific fear of the dentist (probably why I have a bad tooth) and avoid them like the plague. I can't help it. I would rather have my appendix ripped out. At least I would be sleeping while they tortured me.
I know the tooth thing will most likely end in a dentist chair with me crying while having a root canal :(

Yes, you are right I am a big baby and professional drama queen. You might as well just deal with it... I have.

Thank you for letting me vent.

I do feel a little better.

If anyone would like to use my crying room feel free.

I will listen.

Just remember I am the queen of drama in this crying room. LOL

Here is to hoping we all have a better week!

Take Care,

Mya...so sorry..to hear about all that ...you are entitled to vent!! I hope all things are better now!! I had my first crown last year and I was almost a Big baby and walked out!! Then they told me about laughing gas!! I had never had it before and I don't think I will ever go without it!1 If you have never tried it..it's worth paying the extra to use it!! Hope your are healing well!!

  2. Hope you're feeling better soon.

  3. Sweet Mya,

You are allowed to "VENT" that what friends are for!! We are here to help and encourage each other out. I hope my earlier email lifted you up..I had NO IDEA at the time, you felt the way you do and sent that email to you;-)) I really pray this week will go much better for you..."think about this; only a 4 day week...lol!!

  4. I came to cheer you up and invite you to a party! really, the House in the Roses is having a Window Party this Friday, and wish you could participate.... only thing you need to do is show us your favorite window in your home.... it promises to be fun! come see!

  5. Nice vent!
When was the last time you went to the dentist? They have all kinds of things to relax you and some good numbing things too. It's a lot better than it used to be. Try not to get too stressed out. I'll bet it won't be as bad as you think.

  6. Mya, :( so sorry to hear you are having such a rough time! Those are all awful things to have happen. I do not think you are being dramatic at all. IT is what IT is!!!
I love the pic of the angel crying on the pillar. What a beautiful picture....
....you said I could cry here too! I've had a horrible migraine today with nausea ....wahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
    Thanks I feel better too.

Please take care of yourself and heal soon!!! God bless!

  7. Oh No, you poor baby. :(

So sorry to hear about your
    burn and your tooth.

I hope the medicine kicks in
    and you are feeling better
    very soon!

  8. Oh you poor thing!!!
you have had a ruff week and you are intitled to cry, whine, moan and groan!
I am the same way with the dentist to have a simple cavity filled I get myself so worked up in a frenzie that I have to go to bed afterwards!
There are alot of dentists who do sedation dentistry im checking one out next time.
im sure this week will be better,
    lots of hugs,

  9. Oh Mya!!! What a week! Don't worry...I end up crying almost every visit to the dentist! I am terrified too and try to avoid them but I was not blessed with the greatest of teeth and have spent way too much time in the chair! And have changed dentists several times because I have had way too many bad experiences with them making mistakes! I wish you the best of luck with this tooth and know you are not alone in your fear and tears! The last time I went they gave me something so I couldn't remember the experience...can't remember the name of it but you should ask! It worked!

  10. MYA! Who wouldnt be whining after all of that! I hope you get better. I too am terrified of the dentist! I had a root canal when I was 17 and thatwas it for me!!

I hope you feel better soon!

  11. Bless your heart Mya . You really had a bad week hon ! Tell the dentist you want some of that laughing gas !

  12. Vent away, you deserve it after such a terrible week. But I am glad you took the time to write, doesn't it make you feel better? Hope the rest of your week is much better!

  13. I am so like you! I would rather give birth again (and my kids were 10lbs each!) than go to the dentist! You poor baby...I hurt for you! Take care of those burns also...Ouch! karen b...

I am so happy you stopped by for a visit. Your comments are important to me. Leave me your thoughts and always follow your bliss.
