Show and Tell Sunday "Fabulous Flea Market Find"

Happy Father's Day

Welcome to Show and Tell Sunday for my fabulous flea market find. We have a new hostess for this week Heidi from "Birds of a Feather" who was sweet enough to take on the job. Click on her link to visit the other show and tell fabulous finds.

The dreamy cabinet above is my fav fabulous find of all time. I found this piece while traveling with my mom and sis on one of our junk trips. It has a tag inside the door that says hand painted by artist Brett Gregory, Pierceton In. I think I paid around $30 dollars for it. Can you believe it? I couldn't load it fast enough. Sorry sis I beat you to it.

We traveled across US 12 from the east to the west side of the state for Michigan's Longest Garage Sale. Follow the PureMichigan link to find out more info on this year's 212 mile long sale. It was quite an adventure down US 12 and we made a few stops but passed by a lot too . We passed a few women pulling Uhauls to carry all of their treasures. At the end of our journey we stayed in NewBuffalo Michigan and enjoyed their Ship to Shore Festival. The festival hosted a great line up of musical acts, sidewalk sales and a fantastic boat parade. New Buffalo is a hip little town on the shore of lake Michigan and it is a second home to many Chicago residents. Check it out via the New Buffalo link above.
What a great trip!

I have used the image on this cabinet many times for various projects. I love the colors and the soft focus finish. It is great storage for my extra junk and my 2 little finches are housed on top of this beauty.

Thank you for letting me show and tell today.
Check back tomorrow for another Day in the Life.

XO-Mya
